Touching people’s heart – that is what the art really is.

Touching people’s heart – that is an enigmatic gift from nature given to every human.
Touching people’s heart – that is the foundation of soul given equally to human in proof of human.
Touching people’s heart – that is the soul creator that always gives energy to those who see and listen, transcending period of time and race.

Yoshiyuki Chosa continuously led the arts and crafts world that represents our country by sparing no effort in creating unparalleled works, awarded for Medal with Dark Blue (six times), awarded for the Third Grade Order of the Rising Sun and then became Bunkakorosha (person of cultural merits) in the same year, presented with the “Order of Culture” in 1993, and successively held post as a judge for Japan Fine Arts Exhibitions. Yoshiyuki Chosa, now deceased, advanced the arts and crafts world’s “new idea” based on engraving with the motto, “the act of creating art is a compelling expression of life, and it is a manifestation of ‘sweat from the heart’ that appreciates to the benefit from great nature (universe)”, and left the hidden charm of “Chosa Art” as many of his works.
